I'd rather see it stay as-is, until all ports adopt the noncontig model,
whether they need it or not.  contig is just noncontig with one segment,
and the inconsistency is bad, I think.  We should just adopt the new
model everywhere and be done with it.

When I get back from Pittsburgh, I plan on doing the necessary goo to
the hp300 pmap.
