I've run into a strange problem that I can't figure out for the
life of me. I'm compiling up Gnats on my Sparc/1.2 system, and
query-pr is acting a bit strange. It appears to be corrupting a
string during a sprintf. Now this I could normally deal with,
except gdb is behaving awfully strangely on this program as well.
I can set breakpoints, but if I `continue' after a breakpoint, I
get the message `Program received signal SIGTRAP (5), Trace/BPT
trap', which is not normal. If I try to single step (using `s' or
`n'), the program just continues rather than single-stepping. Has
anyone any idea what could cause this odd behaviour? I've tested
out gdb on another small program I compiled, and it worked fine.
