Subject: No more boot messages

Last week, while experimenting with some new kernel code (which crashed a
lot), I managed to break the printing of the startup messages during
multi-user boot (like "starting daemons." etc, the stuff after init
starts).

I suspect I broke some file, as the problem occurs even with old kernels
(pre-changes, plus I wasn't touching console stuff).

This is on a Mac IIsi, running -current as of May 12 or so.

Thoughts?

Take care,

Bill
