I would not call a 486-50 (not DX/2) with an aha1742, 32M of RAM, and
relatively fast disks "rather weak."
Rather, the machine in question is being used for many other services
(e.g. the NetBSD CVS master respository), and, in my opinion, in
poorly set up to deal with the load that's being imposed on it.
