     Not necessarily.  In a battle of MS-DOS/Windows vs. MacOS, I
would be one of the first to admit that MS-DOS/Windows is crap, but
there is no way you would get me to switch.  Similarly, although I run
PC's and service them for a living, I also agree that they are junk.
For mission critical applications, I would recommend using better
hardware if you can afford it.  BTW, I would much rather have somebody
that knows and understands the limitation of PC hardware (including
all the weird variations that you get from people that don't know how
to build the stuff) then somebody wearing rose-tinted glasses that
thinks everything is peachy-keen.

     Anybody want to port NetBSD to the 3B2 so I can make use of that
overgrown paperweight in the corner of my spare room?  It has SVR2 on
it right now.

P.S.  I run NetBSD on i386-based production machines.
