Subject: NetBSD 1.1B/Mac68k, no scsi driver...

I got the following when trying to make a new 1.1B kernel
yesterday:
ncrscsi0 at mainbus0 not configured.
(Exact wording may be imprecise)
When the system can find no scsi interface, it lateron
chokes because there is not root partition.
System is NetBSD 1.1B/current of 18 March 1996, Mac IIcx.
I have not had time to investigate this further, and I just
booted an earlier kernel built from the same configuration
file. (yes, I did rebuild/install config, yes, I did make
clean and depend before compiling my 1.1B kernel). Is
this a consequence of the new device attachmnent scheme, or
is it just a local problem at my end?
