Here's a problem to have you all scratch your heads over.
19960223 source code.
Intel 486 16 meg
RAM
used /etc/ifaliases to allow the box to answer to:
204.107.138.1 and (aliased) 206.54.226.252
Using Windows 95 and Windows NT Server's TELNET package
I can telnet to 204.107.138.1 and keep a connection.
the aliased IP will connect, the loose the connection.
IF you use other telnets (Cisco's routers telnet, Livingston router
Sun Sparc, Sun Solaris on x86 are a few tested...) they will give you
a login prompt, no problem.
I guess this shows that NetBSD has taste. It rejects Micro$oft.
(anyone have ideas?)
