I put
# getting more initial mem limits
options DFLDSIZ=0x4000000 # 64 MB Data
options DFLSSIZ=0x200000 # 2 MB Stack
in my config. I am hoping that this gives me more, but I haven't been able to
build a new kernel because of some problems with my source tree.
I think this is the right thing to do (TM).
Btw: why are these defaults so low in -i386 ?
