Just a heads-up...If you happen to encounter the following:

/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_vlimit" in 
     grep:/usr/lib/libgnumalloc.so.0.0

make sure to re-compile your libgnumalloc with the updated mem-limits.h I 
just checked in.  Of course, to do that, you'll have to grab a working 
libgnumalloc.so.0.0.  I just used the one from the 1.1 binaries.

That sort of surprised me, to say the least.
