Congratulations. You are having trouble with the current NCR
driver. Unfortunately, lots of other people are having trouble with
it, too.

The best suggestion I can give you is to fall back to the NCR driver
sitting on ftp.wasabi.com for a few days. I hope to do some more work
with Mycroft on trying to fix things. (Thats really him trying to fix
things, and me typing away at my machine which has the problem...)
