Subject: Can -current/i386 execute BSD/OS 2.0 binaries ?

I tried to run BSDI 2.0 binary on my NetBSD-1.0/i386, it dumped core
because its crt1.o expected %ebx pointing to structure containing
its parameters and environment (ps_strings).
Can -current run such binaries ? Is anybody working on it ?
How can I add the %ebx setting? (Is setting of p->p_md.md_regs
before execve return sufficient ? Unfortunately I can't use trial and
error method since I can't afford long downtime of the only one
NetBSD machine of mine.)

Any info on BSDI emulation welcome.
