pk recently committed changes to ld(1) to make it actually honour the
-fPIC flag, and, now i'm able to link the tk perl Tk.so object.  it
even runs and works  :-)

Tk-b5 at least seems to work for me on netbsd/sparc.  i haven't had a
chance to down load b7 yet.
