Internal Cache:

I have to have it OFF else the generic kernel won't boot. Why?

Video Weirdness:

After I do the install and boot from the HD, and the initial text
notifications scroll up the screen.. until it get to:

	fd0 at fdc0 drive 0: 1.44MB 80 cyls; 2 heads, 18 sec

after that, the screen starts to scroll somewhere else in the middle
right of the screen, while the old text from the bottom remains there.
Other old text from the middle left also remains there. This remains
like this even after the login: prompt.

If I access the floppy by doing:

	mount -t msdos /dev/fd0a /mnt

There after, the screen scroll goes back to 'normal' from the bottom up.
Is there some conflict between the video and the floppy? After the
floppy access, text scrolling never goes weird again.

HD Weirdness:

I get the following errors or warnings at random:
	sd0(ncr0:0:0): medium error, info=15952 (decimal)

	then sometimes I get:

	sd0(ncr0:0:0): command aborted, info=610888 (decimal)

Thank you for any help.
