It turns out to be port-specific.  NetBSD/i386 does not suffer from it,
but several other ports (specifically, alpha, pc532, pmax, sparc, vax)
do.  I've sent in a PR on it.

Yeah.  I didn't have /usr/libdata, never mind /usr/libdata/lint.  Doing
"mkdir -p /usr/libdata/lint" took care of it.
