I've just compiled and installed netbsd-current on a 486.

I get this same problem, and many more of a similar nature. It seems
that tasks are getting stuck on 'select'. This occurs on ifconfig,
route, sendmail, plus others that I haven't located yet.

Sometimes it seems to continue after 60seconds, other times it doesn't
but pressing a C-c kills the offending task.

Further I am having trouble with XFree86 3.1.1, it starts up OK, but
something seems wrong with the keyboard input. After a few key presses
the server dies complaining that it received a SIGQUIT?

Also on re-build things I found that rpc.bootparamd, and, rpc.rstatd
would not compile due to inconsistancing in the header files.
