Sometimes when leaving vi, I have this problem:

/tmp/crontab.23399: 8 lines, 334 characters.
                                            Error: endwin: Inappropriate ioctl for device.
          crontab: installing new crontab
                                         atrium 21% 

I can restore normal life via "stty crt" and "stty sane".  Does anyone
know why this happens?
