I actually got this working a couple of months ago, and use it on several 
machines here.  It required a bit of hacking to ccd.c, which is already   
in the tree ``ready to go''...

As for the rest, it was mostly hacking config.new, and, of course, the 
simple few lines needed to glue it in to i386/conf.c...

`core' has my changes...they (or something like them) just haven't been 
committed yet...
