 I would love to - alas NetBSD 1.0 unionfs is buggy.

 Still. I don't know how to *boot* from the CD-ROM. The bootstraploader 
only seems to accept UFS but nor cd9660 as FS. Also the 2048Bytes/Block 
buggers me even if I would use a hack  of UFS and cd9660 in the same image.

 I could probably tell the kernel that the UFS on the CD can be found on some
track on the CD (there is enough space on the CD at the beginning for any
entry of this kind) and provide a normal iso-9660 filesystem for the rest
of the stuff. Anyone knows UFS in detail? Can it be told where it should
start seeking for data?
