In the RFC for host requirements, it mentions TCP should be shut down
for a minimum of 2 minutes to avoid problems with sequence numbers.

I've just been rebooting a Sparc/LX (running BugOS) and between ping
intervals is a mere 10 seconds. What is the smallest interval between
active TCP/IP sessions people can achieve with NetBSD ?

And is it worth doing something to ensure the 2 minute interval between
TCP being available as required by the host requirements RFC ?
