Before I released the if_ep driver, I did some ttcp benchmarks
from two identically configured DX2/66's both with 3c509's and
the if_ep driver and the highest I got was 1090 KB/sec...

Of course, the driver has been completely mangled since then
so your YMMV...

(I'm not saying the 3c509 is a good card btw).
