? So far as I can tell, whatever partition I've declared as root becomes*
sdxa - at least, I believe* (I can't check right now, I'm at work) that
the partition that comes up as sd1a is actually /dev/c1d5s3 or something
like that; there are two real partitions before it.  (The SVR4 scheme names
partition 0 as the whole drive - which honestly is a big* consistency win,
it's at least not between* two other partitions.)
