I've got a friend with this card who wants to install NetBSD.  Is it in the
   current code, and does anyone know where I can grab a binary set - or at
   least a kernel that has this driver?

There is currently no free, non-GPLed sequencer code available.  It
is, and has been since the start of the project, our policy to not put
any GPLed code in the kernel.

It's somewhere on my queue to work on it, but I really don't know when
I'll have time.  I hope that someone else does it first...
