rmdir /tmp/foo/
/tmp/foo/: is a directory

Maybe it's the language barrier, but to me that's absolutely unaccaptable
behaviour: I tell the system "go delete that directory /tmp/foo/" and
it answers "sorry, I can't: /tmp/foo/ is a directory!".

Besides from all technical reasons, tradition, personal preferences;
if not the implementation is wrong, the user interface is broken!
