I actually agree with this wholeheartedly.  However,
	a) the original Makefile referred to it, and
	b) the default installation of XF86 from the binary distribution
	   does not have symlinks in the usual place, and there's something
	   to be said for making sure that 90% of binary snarfers can compile
	   without having either to shout for help or figure it out.

Maybe the `official' binary distribution of XF86 for NetBSD should be
built with ProjectRoot pointing to the right place ?  After all, the
original rationale for pointing it at /usr/X386 doesn't apply to us ...
