Hello,

I'm currently running FreeBSD and I would like to move to NetBSD by adding
it to my disk without formatting it.

My first IDE drive has the following partitions (from DOS fdisk):
	P1 =    0 - 239 used for DOS
	P2 =  240 - 479 used for Linux
	P3 =  480 - 719 used for FreeBSD
	P4 =  720 - 965 want to use it for NetBSD.

A disklabel on wd0 from FreeBSD gives this :

8 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg]
  a:    30256   238080    4.2BSD     1024  8192    16   # (Cyl.  480 - 540)
  b:    88784   268336    unused        0     0         # (Cyl.  541 - 719)
  c:   119040   238080    unused        0     0         # (Cyl.  480 - 719)
  d:   479632        0    unused        0     0         # (Cyl.    0 - 966)
  e:   122512   357120    4.2BSD     1024  8192    16   # (Cyl.  720 - 966)
  h:   119009       31     MSDOS                        # (Cyl.    0*- 239*)

I know there is still some trash from my old installation of FreeBSD
(partition a and b).

How can I do it ?

Can I copy from the binary distribution in 'arch/i386' all files under
FreeBSD and then reboot ?

Any idea will be helpfull....

Tahnks.
