I see you are using the -alldirs option. I tried using that one myself
some time ago, and it did not work. I got the same as you: I could mount
the topdirectory itself, but not any subdirectories.

Of course, this was on a NetBSD/i386 0.9a system as of May 16th, so it could
well be that this was an error that has been fixed by now (hmm, I need
to upgrade that system).
