Are you saying that rmail should not queue everything, or are you
saying that rmail should not call sendmail?

If the latter, I have news:  SunOS rmail does call /usr/lib/sendmail.
It looks like it calls
	/usr/lib/sendmail -oMs{sender} -oMr{recipient}

(this from doing a "strings").
