I've seen a lot of people mention the FreeBSD pkg_* utilities.  These
are all fine and dandy, but even the FreeBSD people are looking to
either extend or replace them.

It's better to decide what you want and *then* look at the existing
tools than to take an existing tool and slowly (and often painfully)
force it to do what you want.

So the question is, what do people want?
