   As long as you have the aic driver compiled into your sources.  This
   driver will correctly probe on an Adaptec 1522 as well, but will not
   access any of the SCSI devices correctly.

To me, that statement seems misleading.  The aic6360 driver is reported
to work on SoundBlasters and other devices with 6360 chips.  It is
reported to not work on 6260 chips, like in the 1522.
