In order to test pcvt with with my french keyboard, I've put together
this keycap entry. 

I also have a modified pccons.c that selects the french keyboard
layout and displays iso 8859-1 8 bits characters in the kernel config
file (option FRENCH_KBD) . I'll submit it if there's an interest.
It will need to be completed for other national keyboards.
