I've been attempting to get -current (as of 03 Jun) up to speed with
XFree86 2.1.1, and I've run into a rather nasty snag. Whenever I try to
access the mouse on either tty00 or tty01, the machine hangs dead; no
ddb prompt, no panics, nothing. In fact, I have to go into the BIOS
setup and re-setup the async ports in order to use them again, from
either DOS or NetBSD.

I'm unable to give a model number for the Micronics motherboard in this
thing, but I'm sure it's a late model and it has a 486DX2-66 on it. Has
anybody seen similar behavior?

I'm going to go find another mouse and try it, but I'd really rather have
this one (it works great under Windoze). Help!
