I've currently found two problems during the build of the new utilities
and kernel:

1.) include/protocols/dumprestore.h wasn't updated.  I've just removed the
    #ifndef BSD44 block.

2.) usr.sbin/config/mkswapconf.c still references ufs_mountroot.  I've
    changed it to use ffs_mountroot.

Up to now the new kernel seems to work fine.
