Cool. This is the most exciting news for NetBSD since shared libs were
added.

I don't suppose there will be any painless way to convert existing filesystems
to LFS, will there? Not that I'm expecting anyone in the core team to make
this possible, I'm just wondering if by some miracle there's a utility in
4.4Lite to do this. Probably I'll just have to back everything up to tape
and start newfs'ing my partitions....

Any suggestions on the best way to do this from someone who has gone thru
similar experiences in the past? Running NetBSD on my PC at home is my
first real experience as root, beyond simple administration tasks like
configuring swap space and such, and while I've learned a lot in the last
year in this regard, I've never touched the filesystems after I created them
originally.
