Subject: Changing UTMP INDEX?

I have been getting the following messages shortly after bootup for some time
now, and don't exactly understand what they mean, but sometimes something gets
screwed up and I can only see the last person to have logged in (via w, who,
finger, etc).  Any suggestions?
