crt definitely should *not*.  if it's in the default, it gets
rid of any difference between 'print' and 'more'.

askcc is, for the most part, most useful for disturbing new
users.  It shouldn't be in the defaults, either.

are you talking about the contents of the snapshot, or the 0.9
distribution?  -current's etc.tar.gz contains a disktab, but if a
user is dumb enough to untar it w/o examining its contents, they'll
be screwed it more ways than that.

Actually, i can honestly say that i've *never* used /etc/disktab
for anything other than floppy disk geometry stuff.  if a label's
already on a hard disk, then i grab it with 'disklabel', and i
always keep copies (both hard and soft) of those disk labels
around.
