I've set up a SUP server on wipux2.wifo.uni-mannheim.de which will speed up
things for most european machines though connections are not limited to
europe.

It takes 6 connections at a time. Only the current stuff excluding the
tar_files is archived. I'll change that if there is enough demand. As the
files are in the ftp-archive one could also get them via ftp but that is
not recommended. 

The archive is a clean copy for sun-lamp except for crypt.c which is a
hacked up version of fcrypt and is included in the package security, which
thus can be collected from any site that wants to. If anybody has a cleaner
version or a us-free version of enc_des.c then please send it to me.

I mirror sun-lamp in the early european morning and rebuild the sup 
scan files as soon as that mirror is finished. I then sup it from myself
so I should notice if anything goes wrong.

This service can disappear without prior notice, and is not an official 
service.  Use at your own risk.
