We are contemplating putting together a PPP router using NetBSD. I'm
trying to find out how many (i.e., up to the PC COM port limit of 4)
full-bandwidth (56 kbps) V.32 BIS dial-in lines can be supported by a
386-25 using internal modems (of course with 16650's). I'd also like
to find out which internal modems work & which are known to have problems
working under NetBSD. I suppose that if we can't get the intended
performance using internal modems, we could buy the Hayes ESP
card or an intelligent multi-port async card & use external modems.
Thanks in advance.
