I'm also having problems with the boot blocks from 01/15... I've compiled
without DO_BAD144 and enabled DEBUG (the last number I see is 6, before I
get a reboot - I believe this means it has tried loading in the 2nd boot
ection (aka /usr/mdec/bootxx)).

What does the cc's -O6 option do? Is it essential?

I'm using the linker from 01/01 - does it need upgrading?
