I'm having the same problem here, also quite alot of other problems.
The Makefile for src/gnu/usr.bin/gas has had the -DPIC removed,
breaks on tm-i386.c.
src/sys/arch/i386/i386/genassym.c breaks on SIR_??? undefined.
src/sys/arch/i386/boot/sys.c has struct direct (This one is corrected now)
