I *did* notice a probelm. My machine hung with OK keyboard acticity, but
any access to disk (1742) was a no no. If thats a different probelm,
then I dunno :-(

The fixed pmap.c of a few days ago has got rid of the problem (percieved -
ie it has stopped hanging after 1/2 hour or so).
