I just uploaded to "ftp.novatel.ca:/incoming" the linux sound driver-2.0.

The purpose for this is to provide ONE version that we can all start 
working from -- Once the driver is stable we will be able to incorporate
further chances from the Net.

As of this moment, the GUS/snd-drv-2.0/netbsd-current is crashing the system
whenever I tried to play an *.au file or a midi file. I am working on it..

Herb has managed to get his sound blaster to play *.au files but no
midi files.
