#42: cannot run atf from arbitrary directory

Comment (by anonymous):

I have just been bitten by this. I have my root directory 'mathlib' and
the subdirectories, where the actual tests are as mathlib/math',
'mathlib/fenv', 'mathlib/complex'. They all have an Atffile, but root
directory not (since it doesn't have any tests anyway).

I also have a root Makefile from where I do 'atf-run math fenv complex'
and it fails. I'm forced to track a dummy Atffile in root directory, just
 to keep atf-run happy.

What would we need to fix this ? If it's easy, I can take a look at it ;P

 Cheers,
 Stathis
