Well, the thing is, none of the Amiga accelerators go so fast that you can't
get fast enough memory for them cost-effectively.  The WE, at 40 Mhz, is
fine with 60ns SIMMS, and you can effectively consider it an N-megabyte
L2 cache.

Haynie did some explaining of this a couple of years ago; basically, they
did testing, and weren't able to get enough improvement to justify it.
