Hi guys, I'm trying to attach several IP's to one ethernet interface
(in this case, le0). I made a few attempts to issue the following
command as outlined in man ifconfig(8C):
ifconfig le0 inet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast
xxx.xxx.xxx.1
alias xxx.xxx.xxx.yyy
However, looking at ifconfig -a suggests that ifconfig takes in
xxx.xxx.xxx.yyy
as the broadcast address and doesn't use it as a secondary IP. Is there
something I can do to solve this? Perhaps a newer version of ifconfig?
I am running V1.1 of NetBSD, BTW. Thanks in advance.
Jasper
