Well, I finally decided to make a user for myself.. of 
course that's not without its problems.

I set myself as group 100 (users), user 100, and added 
myself to wheel.

When I try to startx, I get this:

Setting keyboard direct mode: Bad file descriptor

Fatal server error:
Can't set keyboard translation

giving up.


I have most of X set to bin bin and rx for all users.
is there anything else I should be looking for?
