i'm making an expect script to set up SLIP to my provider...
(NetBSD/Amiga 1.0)
i want the script to set up the link, then trap a SIGINT
to shut it down again.
i'm wondering why slattach appears to fork itself, thus
changing its pid and making it hard to kill from the script
because i can't just use the original pid...
it can't be to background itself, because i had to do that
explicitly.
other than that, it's very easy to do...
