One last message: I forgot to mention the error message I was getting:

When I do the command 'vnconfig -v -c /dev/vnd0c inst-11.fs'

I get 'VNDIOCSET Device busy'

Besides putting the 'pseudo-device vnd 4'
statement into my kernel config file and rebuilding my kernel. Are there
any changes to the amiga side of the kernel that needs to be made?
