  I agree with the other posters.  The new driver seems to be much more
stable than the old one on my GVP.  I am currently using an HP C2234 HD,
NEC CD-ROM:841 and a Sankyo tape drive with no problems at all. Have there
been complaints about the new driver or are you just looking for feedback
on it?
