ok, I got this far, now I get these errors when I tried it:
Sep 30 18:47:06 the pppd[104]: pppd 2.1.1 started by root, uid0
Sep 30 18:47:06 the pppd[105]: ioctl (TIOCSCTTY): Operation not permitted
Sep 30 18:47:06 the pppd[105]: ioctl (TIOCSCTTY): Operation not permitted
Sep 30 18:47:06 the pppd[105]: ioctl (TIOCSCTTY): Operation not permitted
I also tried just to use seyon to dial up my provider and it says that
tty00 is a locked device and it could'nt be opened. What do I need to do
to that? I know that /etc/ttys has this entry for tty00:
tty00 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" unknown on secure # int.
serial.
I think it has something to do with the protection on tty00 the directory
listing is this:
0 crw------- 1 root wheel 12, 0 Sep 30 18:40 tty00
Any suggestions?
TIA
