Re, all. Anybody ever tried 2 or more ethernet cards on AmigaNetBSD?

The system: 2 working A2065's <fully-functioning via Envoy> in an
A3k <NetBSD 1.0, no patches as yet, HW setup has been posted before
;-> with kernel support for le0 only to begin with. The autoconfig
in the kernel spots the first card, grabs the Ethernet address and
sets it up as le0 fine, notices the second card <le> but doesn't get
the Ethernet address, 'cos of no support for le1 in the first kernel.
Fair enough, you'd expect that.

Rerolling the kernel with the ethernet configs as

le0at ztwobus0# Lance ethernet.
le1at ztwobus0

in the config file <that probably screwed up with this OLR> gives a
clean compile and new kernel to boot/run with, the autoconfig spots
both le0 and le1 and ethernet addresses for both, but the system
hangs at any attempt at configuring le1 manually <ifconfig> or from
within the /etc config files.

Q: Is there anything else to roll into the kernel for multiple
Ethernet cards, or is it more likely to be a IP config screwup on my
part? Anyone else tried this? <It's either get 2 physically
separate LANs and get named/gated up or take out the admin net
whenever we play Descent...>

Any thoughts appreciated, 'cos I'm stumped, basically...
